One Down, Two to Go

We are now proud owners of one completed living room window treatment! My MIL worked most of the day to get it completed. It only took us two hours to figure out how to hang it correctly!

I am not looking forward to taking them down to paint the room!

On a completely different subject...Chris had his first T-ball practice today. His coaches really love baseball and are excited to teach the kids. However the practice was extremely boring. In one hour each kid ran from home plate to first base one time, each kid ran from home plate to second base one time, played catch and finally each kid stood in a position. However he told one kid to stand on first base and had the rest of the kids follow him. He did the same for each position. Once all the kids were placed he said "Now you are all familiar with the positions." Well, only one kid heard the names of every position (if he was paying attention)!

Of course you have to stop at the playground for a few minutes after practice. Chris went all the way across the monkey bars for the first time!

The window looks great. So Grown up! I think baseball will always be boring for the little guys. Its just not that active of a sport until they get better at it. But they have to learn the basics somehow! Did they get to hit at all?

They did not get to hit! They have two practices before they start games so I guess the next practice will be hitting the ball.
