Today they put the bubbles on the kids again. This time Chris would not let the teacher let go of him going across the pool. Well, on the way back she let go of him and he swam the entire way!
Chris can not stop talking lately. Last night at Itty Bitty Sports he tried talking to the teacher the entire class. I heard him telling her about a play date he either had or wanted to have. He also told her that we were moving to Delaware. After about 5 minutes she had to ignore him because he just kept talking and she had a class to teach. Even with her ignoring him he did not stop. Then today at swimming they were doing the back float and I saw him talking to his teacher again. He sure does have a lot to say lately!
Today was the first day I also actually saw Chris interact with Ryan. He was great and Ryan could not stop smiling. Chris was in his face making funny noises. Well, after Chris got out of the shower he walked down the hall making the same noises and Ryan started smiling again! They actually might get along after all!

My Swimmer
Today at swim lessons they put bubbles on the kids and let them swim across the pool. Some kids needed help and some didn't. The teacher didn't know Chris hadn't been in the pool for a long time so she just let go of Chris. Quickly she realized that he could not swim. She gave him minimal support and then on his way back she just let him figure it out. Chris swam about 5 feet by himself. I was so excited for him.
After swim lessons I told him I was proud of him for swimming by himself. He looked at me and said "I did?"

My Interview and the Storm
For those of you who do not know I had an interview with Miller Brewery today and it went fairly well as far as interviews go, however I got the impression that they are looking for a person who could hit the ground running with little or no supervision. Due to my lack of experience I probably will not get the job, but it was a good experience.
So now here I am in Milwaukee and the North Central part of the state is expecting one of the biggest storms in years. Minneapolis is expecting over a foot of snow and the Milwaukee area is expecting 6-8inches. So there is a strong possibility that I may be stuck here, which wouldn't be too bad, since Peter is sick and the kids are --well--kids.

I told my mom that I was going to post pictures up here before ofoto so she would have to check it. I am going to get people to read this blog one way or another! haha

Confirmed
Ken was told today that the orders are indeed for Delaware! So we will be heading back to the east coast sometime in June. I am excited that Chris will be able to finish school here. Also, we won't have to deal with the hot weather and living next to the Freeway! Ken and I were worried about not being able to sleep with the windows open.
Other then that Ryan really started talking a ton today. He was also squealing with delight. It was so cute. He also is constantly watching his older brother. Ryan will ignore everyone else if his brother is around.

Orders
Well, Ken got orders today. The only problem is that they do not say Dover, Delaware. They say some base in California. Now we are hoping this is a mistake because the base in California does not have any jobs in his career field. Anyhow, we are out of Washington. Keep your fingers crossed that we get to Delaware!
I am so excited right now that I can't even begin to make that top paragraph sound any better!

Back in the Pool
Chris decided that he wanted to take swim lessons again at the YMCA. It helped that two of his buddies were in the class. Anyhow, he went right into the pool and was not scared at all! He told me he had fun swimming and wanted to go back. I am excited for him. Ryan will probably start swim lessons in 3 months! Can you believe that?
Well, as we were leaving the YMCA we saw one of Chris's classmates. I started talking with the parents and they proceeded to tell me that the membership at the YMCA is free for members of the military and half price for dependants. Isn't it nice that I have been paying full price for the last two years????

Permanents and French Poodles
Good Lord - I have really gone and done it this time!! Picture if you will please - a very short, very round and VERY curly French Poodle. Yep that would be me - got a wild notion and off I went to the hair dressers for a Perm! Forgot to take into account that it has been over 25 years since I had a perm. Now I remember why that is! I am hoping beyond hope that once it "Relaxes" I will once again be able to go out in public.
BTW - really really really like the idea of a Family Blog!!!

The Crib
We are trying to find loving owners for our crib. We really like the crib but unfortunately, Ryan doesn't use it. Also since we moved and our new house does not have a much storage we don't have anywhere to keep it. Since it is so big we are having a hard time finding new owners. Well, here are two of the pictures I took to show people the crib.

Look Here
I hope you all enjoy reading and sharing with us. And here is the first update in the world of Ryan. Ryan found his feet the other night. He really enjoys moving them where ever and when ever he wants.
Chris has just gotten over a cold and is back to his normal self. He enjoys all the activities that Beth has him involved in, namely school. He has also started to write. He can write the letters A, H.
As for myself I spend most of my free time studying for my upcoming promotion test for Technical Sargent. I hope that we will get orders to Delaware soon. I currently work in CTK. CTK is where the Air Force keeps all of its tool and support equipment. The job keeps me busy and I use more of my supervisory skills, but I'm starting to miss working on the aircraft.

Beginning
One Thanksgiving my family and I talked about starting a website so everyone could check in on our lives. I started one but it got old quick, especially because no one was reading it. This is the new one, Ken and I will try to update regularly. Bookmark the site and check back often! Don't forget to leave comments once in a while too!
