Faces of Chris

One of the rides we go on as a family is the tilt-a-whirl.

Chris always wants to go on it and I am not really sure if he likes it or not.

While on it he doesn't seem to like it but every time we are at the shore or an amusement park he wants to go on it.

Well, we went on it and I was laughing at all the faces Chris was making.

He went on it a second time just so I could take pictures during the ride of his funny faces.

That is my favorite face and it always makes me laugh!

Day 3

I wish day 3 of our vacation would have gone as planned. If it had I would have pictures to share!

We didn't have anything planned until 1:00 where we were going to the Sights and Sound Theater to see the play Jacob. I figured we would find something to do or go geocaching. Well, we went to breakfast and decided we would go to a science museum. However, soon after the kids were out of control at breakfast so we went back to the hotel where both kids fell asleep.

I woke them up to go to the play and had them eat lunch in the car. They were amazing during the play and actually seemed to like it. I thought the play was amazing!

Since they were so good at the play I decided I would take them to ice cream after it. A huge treat considering it was going to be before dinner. Chris asked to go to the mall to spend the money my mom gave him for the trip. Well in the car after the play the kids decided to resume their behavior from breakfast. They were yelling in the car and hitting each other with water bottles. So I decided we were just going back to the hotel.

It was not the day I planned for but maybe it was too much to do for little ones on a vacation. They were tired boys.

Day 2

On our second day of vacation we headed to Dutch Wonderland.

We spent over 8 hours there mostly going on rides. The boys absolutely love this ride.

Chris even went on the adult version (at Hersheypark) by himself since Ryan was not tall enough. I was pretty impressed when he stayed on for a second time!

We picked a great day to go. We only had to wait in line for a couple rides. Almost every ride we just waited for the current ride to finish then got on the next. It was fun watching the kids on the rides because you can see both their faces when the ride starts and they are not sure of it. By the end of the ride though they love it.

We went on a bus ride that just goes in a circle up into the air. At the top of the ride (when you could be lifted off the seat if it wasn't a kiddie ride) both the boys were nervous. I told them that I bet it felt like traveling in a bubble like on Meet the Robinsons. This was their faces after a couple times going around.

We finished up the day by playing a few games. Of course the kids won prizes since many of the kids games everyone wins. All that matters is the kids are happy and having fun!

My Boy

Somewhere in the last six months Chris became all boy. Suddenly, he likes bugs which he never wanted anything to do with before. He is attempting to climb my parents trees.

Yesterday he started a trend on the beach by picking up a jelly fish and putting it in his bucket. (I have never seen jelly fish at Rehoboth before.)

Just after placing the jelly fish in the bucket we had to leave for little while to place quarters in the meter for our car. Upon returning about 4 kids approached us with their buckets and jelly fish. One girl had a giant jelly fish which I am pretty sure was sitting on the beach earlier. The jelly fish was at least a foot in diameter! I never knew jelly fish could get that big!

I love that these boys have the same swim suits!

It makes it so much easier to spot both of them on a crowded beach.

Day out with Thomas

The first day we were in Lancaster we went to see Thomas the Train!

They had a sign to meet Sir Topham Hatt. We waited a few minutes in line and then found out it wasn't a real person!

After exploring for a little while it was finally our time to board Thomas.

During the train ride the kids traded Silly Bands!

We participated in the activities they had set up around the train station then headed for another train ride pulled by this giant engine!

A Day out with Thomas was great. Even though Chris claims that he doesn't like Thomas and it is a baby even he had a really good time too.
