Bye Bye Ramon!

We have had Tracey's dog here for a little over a week. I took this video over the weekend, I think. The dogs would wake up and immediately start playing. They were so loud. This video doesn't do the dogs justice because their was always growling involved.


Now with Tracey coming today and leaving tomorrow this is what we have. It is 8:15 in the morning, normaly crazy time!

Photo Shoot #2

Yesterday I finally talked Chris into having a photo shoot! Amazingly I actually got a good one of him smiling!

I had to tell me though that I wanted to take pictures of him playing.

It also helped that he thought at first I was using the camera to make a video.

When he realized that I was just taking pictures he wanted to see the pictures after every one I took. That was fine because I actually got him to let me take pictures!

Of course I also had to quick turn the camera to Ryan, who loves having his picture taken.

Sunday morning Ryan and I had a photo shoot while everyone was still sleeping.



He looks like he just got done crying here.

Hair Cut

We took Chase to the groomer. His hair was pretty matted. Here is a picture of what he looked like before.

Pretty Neat

Last night Ken and I decided to take the boys to see Harry Potter. Since the show started pretty late we figured Ryan would sleep most of the time and we brought the lap top for Chris to watch Cars(the DVD players batteries were dead). As soon as the previews started coming on we turned the movie on for Chris and he sat and watched Cars with headphones. Then Ryan started crying so I missed about the first 30 minutes of the movie. I caught some of it....good thing I read the book so I knew what was going on. The next half hour was interrupted with Chris asking for normal three year old requests. Then he fell asleep and Ken and I enjoyed the rest of the movie with two sleeping boys. This is a picture of the place we went!



Next time we will prepare better and put the seats down in the back of the van with pillows and blankets. Maybe this will be easier and quieter for the boys to fall asleep. We definitely plan on returning. The only bad part is that we left at 6:30 to make sure we were able to see the movie (the show did sell out) and since you have to wait for it to get dark we did not get home until about 11:30!

Baby Dance

A brother's dance! Chris in the bathtub made up this song and was making Ryan dance to it. Then yesterday he decided to do it again. I asked him if I could tape it and got the surprising answer of "yes". After I had to tape him about 10 times and he immediately had to watch it on the computer. It kept him busy for about an hour (read: out of trouble) and that was nice. Enjoy the Baby Dance!

Learning

Ryan is learning to crawl. Once determined he can get across the room but can not crawl enough to explore yet.

The New Addition

Presenting Chase! This is when we first got home from the SPCA. He hadn't been brushed yet but even brushed he still looks basically the same.
