Ryan

Ryan was asking about college this morning. I immediately thought of Chris crying about not wanting to go away to college and thought Ryan would follow in his footsteps. However, Ryan just wanted answers.

He asked about living at college and what happens if you have kids when you go to college. I told him that you have kids after you get married.

Then I asked him if he was going to have kids when he grows up. He answered "No, because I want to be able to do whatever I want to when I grow up. If I want to play video games all day long then I can."

Smart kid!

Mystery of the Missing Tractor

For homework Chris had to write a paragraph using the words boring, ducked, sense, suppose and tractor. He came up with a story longer then a paragraph. I was pretty impressed with his story since writing is what he struggles with the most. Here is his story:

Once upon a time there was a tractor who lived on a farm. The tractor was feeling sad. He was not being used and sitting in a garage. He flew to the Planet Nuboo to get away from his boring life.

Darth Vader noticed his tractor was missing and he was asking questions. Luke Skywalker told him the tractor flew to the Planet Nuboo. Darth Vader said that does not make sense. Tractors don't fly!

Darth Vader went to the Death Star in his ship to find where the tractor was hiding. He said I suppose Luke was right because the tractor was in Nuboo. Then he went to Planet Nuboo. He ducked under a few pod racers and found the tractor. He told the tractor he would take better care of him. They went home together.
