Sometimes You Don't Have to Look Far

Chris has been asking for a while now to go to Chuck E. Cheese. We decided to bring the boys yesterday. They have a machine there that takes your picture and then sketches it out. Now I am a sucker for photo booths. This one only cost 25 cents...I made all of the boys take a picture with me!

Now in the last post Chris was holding Ryan's head to look in the correct direction. I figured out where he got it from!

I am not sure if you can see it but I am totally holding Chris's head so he is looking at the camera rather then up at the screen....which is what all of us were doing in this picture!

In other news, Ken and I decided to buy our way into the cool crowd. We purchased the hard to find Wii yesterday. Although I truly believe when you are up in the air about purchasing one they are much easier to find then when you have your mind made up. We only had to check two stores.

Once Chris decided the Wii wasn't that evil he proceeded to beat Ken and I in bowling. It was a pretty close game, I only got beat by 60 points!

Family Fun Night

Yesterday we went to a Family Fun Night. They had dinner, a bouncy castle and many arts and crafts. It wasn't anything special but enough to keep Chris busy. Also there was not much of a turn out so we were able to talk with our friends without screaming or constantly asking "What?" I think we will be attending these each month.

Chris won this chair in the raffle.

It is the perfect size for him. I think it would be great for the beach.

Of course we were paying attention to something else rather then Ryan so he cried until Chris finally got out of the chair and he was able to get in.

Ryan doesn't look so comfy.

I guess Chris got sick of me taking pictures of Ryan so he decided to take matters into his own hands. He told Ryan he needed to look at the camera and not move.

Thank you, Mom!

After our ER visit diagnosing Ryan with pneumonia we found out from our pediatrician that Ryan did not in fact have pneumonia but an enlarged liver. It was short lived and the doctor does not know what caused it. He said we could draw blood to try and find out what Ryan contracted but it wasn't worth poking him again. I agreed with this.

About a week later (12-23-07) Ken decided that Ryan's color was not getting better and took him to the ER. There they did all the tests they could. It turned out Ryan was healthy and they decided his baby food was causing his color to be off.

We headed to my parents house the next day and stayed the entire week. My mom spent the majority of the week in the kitchen making sure my boys got healthy food. After cooking all the meals she even fed Ryan most of his meals!!!

We showed up with him looking like this:

We left at the end of the week with Ryan looking like this:

Don't I have a wonderful Mom?
